Its been a long time, and I have been neglecting this page. Sorry about that.
But I have been writing in the interim. So posts for the next while will be from a backlog. Some of them represent a state of mind that has passed, some are waking dreams or ramblings. But whatever I post, I've decided has some value to be seen, even if it feels tremendously vulnerable to put unfinished work into the world. But I've also never met or heard from an artist who thought any work was completely 'Done', only pushed out the door beyond their control.
John Green said about art(specifically about books, but also art in general) "Both the reader and the author must bring their deepest self to it." and I think that if both you and I approach my work wanting to feel deeply from it, then it will work, even if it is unpolished and frayed and shows parts of me to the world that make me want to hide it away. So for bringing yourself to my work as I try, I deeply thank and appreciate you.
I'm also going to try to stick to a posting schedule for once. So lookout for new content on Saturdays, mostly because that's the day I can wrench my brain towards creating in a way that feels important.
As always, I like you, and wish you well.

P.S. I go by Ursa now.
